A Conversation That Makes a Difference: Care Package Inbound Featured on Cathy Chat

Spreading awareness, building connections, and bringing hope to children entering foster care.

Sometimes, changing a child's life begins with a simple conversation.

At Care Package Inbound (CPI), we believe that when people hear about the challenges children face entering foster care, something powerful can happen. Hearts are moved, connections are made, and people begin asking one important question:

How can I help?

That's why we're grateful to Cathy Chat for featuring Care Package Inbound and providing an opportunity to share our mission with a wider audience.

Our Co-Founder, Jessica Silvey, had the opportunity to be part of the podcast, helping introduce more people to the work we're doing and encouraging others to get involved.

Every Child Deserves to Feel Seen

Imagine being a child suddenly removed from your home, unsure of where you're going or what comes next.

For many children entering foster care, this transition happens quickly, leaving little time to gather personal belongings or even basic necessities.

That's where Care Package Inbound steps in.

Our mission is to provide children entering foster care with backpacks filled with 48 hours of essential items, including clothing, hygiene products, blankets, and age-appropriate comfort items.

But our backpacks are about so much more than the items inside.

They're about dignity. They're about comfort. They're about reminding a child that even in the middle of uncertainty, someone cares.

Every backpack represents a child, a story, and an opportunity to make a difficult moment a little brighter.

The Power of Sharing Our Mission

One of the greatest challenges for nonprofits isn't always finding people who want to help. Sometimes, it's simply helping people discover that a need exists.

That's why opportunities like Cathy Chat are so meaningful.

By creating space for organizations like ours to share their stories, Cathy Chat helps bridge the gap between people who want to make a difference and the organizations working to meet real needs in our communities.

You don't have to become a foster parent to support children in foster care.

You can volunteer, donate, become a community partner, organize a backpack-building event, or simply share our mission with someone who might want to get involved.

One conversation can lead to one connection. One connection can lead to one backpack. And one backpack can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child.

Thank You, Cathy Chat!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Cathy Chat for the opportunity to highlight Care Package Inbound and encourage viewers to connect with our organization.

We're grateful for people who use their platforms to bring attention to organizations serving their communities.

Because the more people who learn about the needs of children entering foster care, the more opportunities we have to respond with compassion and care.

And that's how a community comes together to make a difference.

Help Us Be Ready for the Next Child

There are children in our community who will enter foster care today, tomorrow, and in the days ahead.

We may not know their names or their stories yet, but we can be ready for them.

Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, businesses, and community partners, we can continue providing backpacks that offer essential items, comfort, and hope when they're needed most.

You don't need to change the entire foster care system to make a difference.

Sometimes, you just need to help one child.

Every backpack tells a story. Help us be ready for the next child.
