Kickin' it with Ken with guest Jessica Silvey with Care Package Inbound

One of the most rewarding parts of our work is having the opportunity to share the heart behind Care Package Inbound.

CPI Co-Founder Jessica Silvey recently joined the “Kickin’ It with Ken” podcast to talk about our mission and the difference a thoughtfully prepared backpack can make for a child entering foster care.

We cannot eliminate the trauma of entering foster care. But together, we can change what that first moment looks and feels like. Through our 48-hour emergency backpacks, we want every child to know that, even in crisis, someone cared enough to prepare for them.

We are incredibly thankful to Ken for giving Jessica the opportunity to share CPI’s story and help more people learn about the needs of foster youth in our community.
